Service Description

I highly suggest in-person or house call consults rather than over the telephone for myriad reasons. I love to meet clients face to face, be able to engage in a welcoming space, and form a connection with you. It may also allow me the ability to observe topical issues and the state of certain conditions. If a telephone consult is your only available option, fret not, we will still make an equally personalized remedy for you! Consults will generally take an hour but can run longer or shorter depending on the complexity and nuance of the issue. Rates are not hourly so if we go over time there are no hidden fees. In-person and telephone consults are $50 for the first session and the cost of follow-ups are variable depending on the circumstance. House calls are set at $100 and must be within ~30 miles of Bloomington, IN. If you are actively sick and request a house call, please wear a mask. When meeting we will discuss your medical history including allergies, medical diagnoses, medications, lifestyle, and your personal input to help me build a comprehensive picture. From there, I'll begin a preliminary workup of herbs tailored to your specific needs, and if desired a, dietary workup to feature foods and spices that may help! We can discuss the pros and cons of each mode of remedy: tinctures, teas, balms, etc. When designing your solutions your input is valuable. If you have preference for one mode or another, have a disdain or desire for a specific herb or anything else, it will be factored in to your finalized recipe. These recipes will be sent to you prior to making them to allow ample time for you to look them over, consult with your primary physician, or do independent research if you'd like. Tinctures are typically $20 for a 2 oz. bottle, balms are $13, and teas are $5 per oz. These prices may be higher or lower depending on the rarity of herb and seasonal availability. Herbalism is protected under free speech, there is no state or federal licensure for herbalists. Herbalists cannot legally diagnose, treat, prescribe or recommend you to stop taking medicines prescribed by properly licensed individuals. This is an at-will and informed risk service, if you have any concerns please consult your primary physician.
